When I paint my masterpiece

This drawing was brought to life amidst the energy of Bob Dylan’s concert in Lisbon on June 4, 2023, specifically during the rendition of „When I Paint My Masterpiece.” Given Dylan’s restriction on recording devices during his performances, I embraced the challenge of encapsulating the essence of his stage presence through the medium of pen and paper. The task required a rapid approach, as I aimed to translate the dynamic atmosphere of the concert into a visual representation. The act of sketching became a unique and personal means of documenting the moment, allowing me to capture the spirit of the performance and the iconic artist’s presence in a tangible and lasting form.
