Negative Space Skate Series

In this 24-piece graphite drawing series, I embarked on a visual exploration of the human body, movement, and the dynamic space it occupies, drawing inspiration from photographs of skaters. The series seeks to capture the skaters’ movements while utilizing negative space as a fundamental element. To enhance the visual impact, these voids are filled with hand-drawn graphite marks, creating a compelling interplay between form and pattern.
