Eurospent
How much money does your community receive from the EU? The Eurospent project makes this information accessible. By collecting data from national sources and presenting it on an interactive map, Eurospent allows users to easily explore how EU funds are distributed across regions and communities.
I was responsible for creating the complete visual identity of the project—from the logo and website design to the user interface of the interactive map. My goal was to deliver a clear, trustworthy, and engaging visual experience that supports transparency and public engagement.
This project was funded by the Prototype Fund, a program by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), managed by the Open Knowledge Foundation Germany. The Prototype Fund supports individuals and small teams in developing open-source software that serves the public good—particularly in areas such as civic tech, data literacy, and digital infrastructure.
