100/70 Days of Sarolt
After concluding my maternity leave, I worked from home with my daughter Sarolt, until she secured a spot in a childcare facility. Between mothering, working and managing a household, I initiated a 100-day project to maintain my sense of self. During her nap times, I chose to sketch her sleeping. The outcome was a collection of 70 drawings capturing my daughter’s sleep, revealing the significant progress in my drawing skills over time. The realization only dawned as I flipped through the entire series, highlighting the cumulative impact of these small, consistent acts on both my artistry and the portrayal of her essence on paper.
